Model Diaires Series 2 shot to the Number 1 Bestseller in 3 days.
Celebrity Fashion Model, Awarded Fashion Presenter, Red Carpet Host, Number One Bestselling Author and Reality TV Actress Deborah Jay Kelly, celebrated the launch of Series 2 of Model Diaries UK on the 22nd July 2023, to coincide with her Celebrity Birthday Bash 2.
Accompanied by X-Factor legend Amrick Channa, Big Brother’s ‘Cookie’ Kat, Gogglebox Sandy Bogle, iconic legends and stars of Music, Charity, TV and Radio, the Book has already exceeded the success of the Series 1. After 2 days of its launch it shot to Number 1 Bestseller. Deborah has since had her own shows on both Radio and TV.
Model Diaries UK series 2 is a continued celebration of ‘Beauty in all shapes and Sizes and represents Cultural integration and Diversity.
‘Everyone is beautiful and it is their right to express that beauty in whatever form it takes. We are all unique. There is simply no other like you’ says Deborah who in her 50’s is still at the top of her career. Not a usual place to be ay this age but Deborah is changing the Industry and will continue to do so ‘for fashion can and should be celebrated at every age and stage of your life’ says Deborah.
Having worked with the likes of TOWIE, Ashley Banjo and Botched she is no stranger to TV and first appeared at the age of 17.
With thousands of appearances and 350 awards on her wall, Model Diaries UK series 2 was two years in production.
‘I organized every shoot which included Photographers, Models, Celebrities, Fashion Designers, MUA’s and Hair Stylists’. We went on location with themed shoots which were awesome. The Book features such headliners as Brides in Southend where I met with Philip Miller MBE, owner of Adventure Island. He closed some of the rides whilst we got on them in bridal gowns!! There was a Roman shoot at some old ruins, a Steampunk shoot, an Edwardian period Shoot, a Burlesque shoot and so many more. We filmed in Brussels, Santorini and various UK locations. There has never been a book like this and there never could be as the project took so long most people would not even have been able to dedicate enough time, but I am passionate and this is my legacy’ says Deborah.
What makes this book different is that I personalize every person that appears or has appeared in the book. Think of a photographic extravaganza of the Bridget Jones Diary. The reader can follow the lives of each personality in their field of expertise, but they also share personal elements of their lives which they have never shared before, which makes the book unique.
‘I designed the storyboards, shoots, edited the pictures, wrote the red carpet interviews and the diaries and put it all into a book. I am very proud of my achievements’ says Deborah.
