Deborah Jay Kelly to be Guest at Danish Wakeel’s Fashion Show ‘Ascendance’

Supernova fashion designer, model and Mr. Commonwealth International 2014-2015 Danish Wakeel’s upcoming capsule collection ‘Ascendance’ will be showcased during the opening day of London Fashion Week SS’16 on September 18, 2015 . Danish aims to create an enlightened bridge between faiths and cultures, particularly between Brazil and Pakistan his ancestral home. ‘Ascendance’ is a stylistic tribute to Brazil , host of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Our Brazilian partners are Ephemeral Brazil , a charity funded by Cristina Carneiro de Mendonça Eastwood , milliner, designer , who runs projects that promote education and enterprise in some of Brazil most vulnerable communities, Caramujo Andante, poet, musician , cordwainer who has created special bespoke shoes for the ‘Ascendance’ show. Renata Hori will add an elegant glow with her exquisite accessories woven from “Golden Grass ” , Capim Dourado a skill learned from the Xerentes indigenous tribe of the Tocantins region . Renata won a bronze award for her designs at a Creative Conscience Event sponsored by Unilever .
